What is The Shattered Realms?
The Shattered Realms is an immersive strategic card game set in a fractured multiverse where players take on the role of powerful Realm Walkers. Each player commands unique factions, harnesses the power of magical Shards, and battles for control over reality itself.

How can I play or test the game?
There are several ways to experience The Shattered Realms:
• Digital Playtest: Join our closed beta program by signing up on our website. Selected testers receive access to our digital platform where they can play against others and provide valuable feedback.
• Print-and-Play: Download our free starter kit from the downloads section, featuring pre-constructed decks and all necessary components to try the game at home.
• Local Events: Check our events calendar for playtesting sessions, demos, and tournaments at game stores and conventions near you.
When will the first expansion release?
The first expansion for The Shattered Realms, titled "Echoes of the Void", is currently scheduled for release in Q2 2024.
This expansion will introduce over 150 new cards, three additional factions, and innovative game mechanics that will deepen the strategic complexity while maintaining the core gameplay experience. Pre-orders will begin approximately one month before launch, with exclusive promotional cards available to early supporters.

What are Shards and the Fate Deck?
Shards are the fundamental magical resources in The Shattered Realms. Each Shard represents a different aspect of cosmic power:
• Crystal Shards - Provide pure magical energy for spells and abilities
• Shadow Shards - Enable stealth, deception, and manipulation tactics
• Light Shards - Offer protection, healing, and divine intervention
• Chaos Shards - Unleash unpredictable but powerful effects
The Fate Deck is a unique mechanic that adds an element of destiny to each game. At the start of your turn, you draw a Fate card that can provide immediate benefits, alter game rules temporarily, or trigger special events. These cards represent the ever-shifting nature of the Shattered Realms and can turn the tide of battle when used strategically.
